Support
One person answers these. That person is me.

Anything at all: support@lockade.app. It's a solo project, so you're writing to the person who can fix it. I read everything and reply to almost all of it within a day or two.
If you're reporting something broken, the three things that help most are: which phone you're on, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
Common things
The lockout isn't kicking in. On iPhone, check that Lockade still has Screen Time permission in Settings; iOS sometimes drops it after an update. On Android, check that the Lockade accessibility service is still enabled, and that battery optimisation isn't stopping it running in the background.
A reminder didn't arrive. Notifications need to be allowed, and on Android Lockade also needs the exact-alarm permission so reminders fire at the scheduled minute rather than whenever the system gets round to it.
My buddy's link isn't working. Unlock codes are single-use and expire after about fifteen minutes. If one has gone stale, send a fresh request. Nothing is lost by asking again.
I want to change my buddy. You can, in the app, at any time. The change takes effect after a cooling-off period, which is deliberate: it's what stops a nominated buddy being swapped for a spare account at the moment you'd most like to. Until it lands, your previous buddy keeps their view.
I'm locked out and my buddy isn't answering. After five minutes without an answer, two fallback unlocks appear: scan the medication box, or read a short piece about the dose. Both are limited on purpose. Logging the dose is free, unlimited and faster.
Privacy and your data
The names of what you take never reach our servers. Your schedule syncs without them, and your buddy only ever sees slot-level adherence. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is and isn't stored, including what your phone's own iCloud or Google backup holds.
To access, correct or delete your data, or to withdraw consent, write to privacy@lockade.app.
Medical care
Lockade is a reminder and self-discipline tool, not medical advice and not a medical device. If something about your medication is worrying you, that's a conversation for your doctor or pharmacist, not for me.
